One single mum tried to track down a mystery man she connected with in Lanzarote.It didn't exactly go to plan.
Mother-of-four Gaynor Fossey launched a public Facebook appeal to find her crush, who she met while on holiday with her 10-year-old daughter, Callie, in June this year.
Gaynor, from London, claims she met the Liverpudlian lothario - who is also a parent - by the pool at their hotel.
The pair spent a whole day immersed in flirtatious conversation and exploring the town with her little girl in tow.
Gaynor said: "I'd never done anything like it before but he was such a great guy. He spent the whole day telling me how nice I looked and showing Callie and I around Lanzarote. It was so romantic."
Although they had agreed to meet the next night before Gaynor and Callie flew home, the stay-at-home mum didn't manage to find him again.

Gaynor, who has been single for years, was determined to find him and decided to post an appeal on Facebook with the hope of tracking down her love interest.
She said: "I've been alone for a long time so I decided to take a chance and post about it on social media. I thought if it's meant to be someone will be able to help me find him."

She was bluntly told that her love interest 'did not want to be found'.
She said:
"I got a message from a guy saying he was his friend and saying he 'didn't want to be found'.
"The friend knew details about our trip I hadn't talked about on social media. It might have even been him."
Various social media users commented on Gaynor's post suggesting that her holiday hunk might be another woman's philandering husband.
In spite of her upsetting experience, the mum hasn't been put off and now feels more determined than ever to find love.
