Real Estate Ready To Sell Prince's Massive Properties

Prince's massive real estate holdings are about to hit the open market ... if his estate gets a judge's approval.

The special administrator of Prince's estate has filed a request to start unloading various real estate holdings. It won't be a fire sale though ... according to the docs, the estate says it will only accept offers that are at least 90% of fair market value.

It's unclear exactly which of his properties will be for sale -- the court has sealed that part of the request -- but Prince is known to have real estate in Minnesota, Beverly Hills, New York and possibly more. His Minnesota holdings alone have been estimated at nearly $30 mil.

The move is a sign Prince's heirs are looking to liquidate his assets rather than hold onto 'em for sentimental reasons.

The judge still needs to sign off on the deal.

Judge Snubs Claims By 29 Prince ‘Heirs’

A judge in the US state of Minnesota has dismissed claims by 29 people who said they were owed a share of Prince’s inheritance.

The singer died in April from an accidental overdose of the painkiller fentanyl, but he did not leave a will and did not have any children.

Reports in Minnesota say his estate may be worth at least $300m (£227m).

A judge has now ordered genetic tests to be carried out on six people with claims to be relatives of the singer.

Four siblings or half-siblings, as well as two women believed to be a niece and a grand-niece, will be tested.

Genetic tests had already ruled out the claim of a man in jail in Colorado who said he was Prince’s son.

And, as part of the latest ruling, Judge Kevin Eide decided a claim by a Georgia woman, who said she and Prince were once married, was not valid. She had said the CIA was keeping their marriage record secret.

Minneapolis’ Star Tribune newspaper said the case was thrown out against five men who said they were Prince’s father.

Prince was found unresponsive in a lift at his Paisley Park Studios on the morning of April 21, local officials said. First responders tried to revive him with CPR but he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Prescription painkillers were in the 57-year-old’s possession following his death, officials told US media in May.

He is believed to have suffered from knee and hip pain from years of performing.

According to the autopsy report, Prince self-administered fentanyl, an opioid many times more powerful than heroin.

A singer, songwriter, arranger and multi-instrumentalist, Prince recorded more than 30 albums. His best known hits include ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ and ‘When Doves Cry’.

DNA Test Proves Prince Is Not The Father Of Prison Inmate

A DNA test has determined a Colorado prison inmate is not the son of the late music legend Prince, a source who was briefed on the test results told NBC News Wednesday.
Carlin Q. Williams, 39, through his attorney in early May claimed he was Prince's son, which if true would have entitled him to at least part of Prince's estimated $300 million estate. A second source also confirmed to NBC News that the test result was negative.

Williams' mother, Marsha Henson, wrote in a court affidavit that she had unprotected sex with Prince, whose full name is Prince Rogers Nelson, in a Missouri hotel room in 1976.
Henson told The Associated Press in a brief interview that she does not believe the reported test results.
"I don't believe that. I think they're positive," she said.
