Bobby Brown’s life has never been the same after losing Bobbi Kristina

After losing daughter Bobbi Kristina in July 2015, Bobby Brown’s life has never been the same. In the first interview since his daughter’s tragic death, Bobby shared his grief, and the beautiful role he believes her mother Whitney Houston is serving in the afterlife.

Bobby Brown, 46, appeared on The Real, for an episode that will air Monday, September 14, and took part in his sad first interview since the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. Bobby, joined by wife Alicia Etheredge, spoke eloquently about the daughter he adored, and the pain her passing on July 26 has caused. Most beautiful of all, he shared that he believed her late mother, Whitney Houston, helped her into heaven.
In a pre-taped segment that will air on Monday, September 14, Bobby sat down with the hosts of The Real to speak about healing after his loss, and what he believed those last few moments had been like for his precious daughter. An visibly distraught Bobby gathered the words to describe how he felt as Bobbi Kristina was dying.

“We prayed and hoped for six months … for something better to happen,” Bobby said. “But when God calls you, he calls you. I’m pretty sure her mother was … had a part with like, ‘Come on, let’s get her up here.” Alicia added to his sentiment, “In the best way … in the welcoming way.”

So heartbreaking. And such a lovely thought to hold onto while thinking about your daughter and the mother who loved her so much. As is well known, Whitney died in February 2012 after being found unresponsive and underwater in her room’s bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. It was chilling to learn that her daughter had been found in nearly the same conditions in January 2015. Bobbi was discovered unresponsive in her bathtub at her home in Atlanta, and was never able to recover from the tragedy. She was place in a medically-induced coma, and died in July 2015.

“She was not comfortable by herself, I guess,” Bobby said of his ex-wife Whitney. “She just called my daughter with her.” Bobby seemed so upset, understandably, during his interview; hopefully knowing that his daughter is at peace with her mother by her side will give him some comfort. Bobby, our hearts and thoughts are with you, and have been with you during this terrible time.
