Chris Brown, 26, just couldn’t contain his happiness over winning 50/50 custody of Royalty, 1! After fearing that he would lose his daughter in the custody battle to Nia Guzman, 32, it’s no wonder Chris couldn’t hold back his excitement when he reunited with his baby girl at the courthouse. What better way to celebrate his victory?
This is just too precious. Chris comes out to greet Royalty who is with his mom, Joyce. He scoops Royalty up in his arms and makes a funny face at her, to which she shyly giggles at. He then adorably comments on her full head of hair and she smiles while clutching onto his shirt. This father-daughter bond is seriously the cutest.
It warms our hearts to see Chris and Royalty’s reunion. The “Loyal” singer was so worried that the judge would even toss out his DNA test to prove his paternity! Plus, Nia had a ton of demands and was asking for $15K a month in child support. After the emotional custody battle, the judge ruled that Nia would receive $2,5000 a month and that Royalty would go back and forth with Chris and Nia every four days.
DGossip247 spoke to Chris’ family law attorney Bo Nichols, who revealed that in court, Chris couldn’t hold back his tears after winning. “Chris is beyond happy to be Royalty’s father,” Bo told us. “The minute he was adjudicated as her father, he teared up. Royalty is one lucky little girl to have such a loving father like Chris.” So sweet.
