Lamar Odom 'wept about his broken life' before 'taking cocaine with prostitutes' at Las Vegas brothel

The basketball star was rushed to hospital in the early hours of the morning after being found unconscious

Lamar Odom broke down in tears at the Las Vegas brothel where he was found unconscious this week, telling the girls he was a "broken man", it has been claimed.

The NBA star was rushed to hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning after being found unconscious at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch in Nevada.

The 35-year-old sportsman was taken to Desert View Hospital in Nevada before being moved to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center where he is battling for his life.

Workers at the Nevada brothel claim the former NBA star had been using cocaine in the days before the incident, as the 911 call was released.

A source has now claimed to Mail Online that Lamar was showing the girls in the brothel pictures of his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, and appeared a "broken man".

A source told the site: "He was all freaked out about Khloe, fixated on her. He was showing the girls photos of them together and wanted to pour his heart out, he wasn't there just for sex, he needed a shoulder to cry on, companionship. He seemed lost."

Lamar reportedly felt "stressed" when he arrived, and the girls offered to give him a massage to relax him.

The source added: "But ultimately he wanted to party and would break down in tears from time to time. He told the girls he was a broken man, that he thought his life was a mess and he had no direction.

"He was partying non-stop, using cocaine and taking Viagra and the girls saw other drugs paraphernalia lying around."

It comes after a source told E! News that doctors found "virtually every drug imaginable".

The 911 caller, Love Ranch media director Richard Hunter, claimed the 35-year-old, who remains in a "critical condition", had cocaine with him on Saturday when he arrived.

He also told operators that Lamar had used up to 10 tabs of sexual performance enhancers - herbal Viagra - during his stay.

During Wednesday afternoon's press conference, the Nye Country Sheriff's Office also said there's a possibility Lamar could be charged with drug posession.

The former Lakers player is reportedly likely to have suffered "brain damage" as a result of a "loss of oxygen but also possible stroke," and doctors are treating the situation as a non-suicidal "overdose."

Meanwhile sources claim to TMZ that the NBA star suffered multiple strokes, and has begun to suffer organ failure with just a 50/50 chance of survival.

Lamar's rep issued a statement saying: "Family and friends are extremely concerned for Lamar.

"Please don't listen to the false information being circulated unofficially. Please respect the family's privacy during this difficult time."

It comes amid claims a recent KUWTK episode threw Lamar into "turmoil".

Sources have told US gossip site TMZ that Lamar "lost it" on Sunday after a scene aired on Keeping Up With The Kardashians showing Khloe on the phone to him after his close friend Jamie died.

When she got off the phone she said she was worried Lamar might spin out of control. In a separate scene Khloe also left a nightclub after hearing her ex was trying to get in.

Kris Jenner accompanied her daughter Khloe to the hospital, and Khloe has remained there since - with both Kris and kim popping in and out regularly.

Kris, who was pictured looking sombre outside the hospital , took to social media on Wednesday afternoon to publicly show her support.

Next to a picture of a happy Lamar taken during an LA Lakers game, she wrote: "Please pray for Lamar #ourfighter."

Rob Kardashian also later shared a post, writing: "Praying nonstop for my brother!!"

Kris and Rob's posts come after Kendall, 19, shared her own heartbreaking tweet.

The model, who has also now flown to Vegas to be with Lamar, begged "please don't go," in a simple but poignant message on her account.
