Please add Demi Lovato's name to the list of singers who can flawlessly belt out the national anthem and leave you weeping on the floor. Demi performed "The Star Spangled Banner" before Game 4 of the World Series and did it in such a way that left every American in a red, white, and blue puddle on the floor, with bald eagles soaring above the rivers of their tears. OK, that might a bit much, but the point is it was very patriotic and powerful.
Fan of Demi won't be surprised that she has the pipes to pull this off (it's a really hard song to sing) and people who are just getting around to discovering her will be utterly blown away by what she did here. She also got high praise from someone else who knows a thing or two about singing.
