The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Ebonyi State has seized over 169 kilogrammes of narcotics.
The State Commander of the Agency, Mr. Ralph Igwenagu stated this in an interview with our Correspondent at the Headquarters of the Agency in Ntezi in Ishielu Local Government Area.
He explained that about 40 suspected traffickers were arrested in connection with the hard drugs which were seized at various locations across the state in the last few months.
He noted that the seizure comprised of cannabis sativa and other cycotropic substances while 12 out of the suspects had been convicted by the Federal High Court Abakaliki.
