Former Deputy National Chairman (South West) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, has predicted that the party will bounce back from its defeat at the 2015 general elections.
He stated that the PDP was only given a bloody nose, not a knock-out. Speaking yesterday as guest speaker during the Minerva Philosophical Association lecture held in Lagos with the theme ‘Leadership, Change and National Continuity’, the PDP chieftain noted that the opposition party will steadily engage the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in constructive criticism.
He said: “There can’t be just one party in the system. The PDP will surely rebound through constructive criticism.”
