See The First Black And White Twins In The UK

When Libby Appleby, 37, was going to have her twins, she was told that her unborn babies would look so similar they would need to be “marked with ink” to tell them apart.

But like the saying goes, man proposes but God disposes, it turns out otherwise that though the two girls shared the same egg, they came out totally different as one of the twins (Amelia) was born with dark skin, black hair and brown eyes, while her sister (Jasmine) has fair skin, blue eyes and mousey curls.

But, amazingly, the two twins are genetically identical as predicted, but God already provided the ink to mark them differently, physically.

Amelia and Jasmine are reported to be the first of their kinds in UK.

Though their parents are of different racial backgrounds, but it is very rare to have twins of different colours.

“Amelia was so much darker than Jasmine, they barely even looked related.Doctors told us the chances of conceiving mixed race twins are one in a million. We were thrilled they were so unique,”, their mother said.
