Woah! A Motorcycle Snatcher Got Burnt To Death In Niger State

A man who was suspected of Motorcycle snatching in Paiko community of Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State, was on Thursday burnt to death by an angry mob while attempting to steal a Motorcycle.

It was gathered that the man was a member of a 3-Man gang, allegedly terrorizing the community. The suspected hoodlums were said to have blocked the way of a motorcyclist with a pickup Van, jumped down from the vehicle and made to dispossess the motorcyclist of his property.

The victim was however displayed a brave attitude by holding firmly to the motorcycle before raising the alarm for help. While two members of the team ran away, the third member was held by a crowd who had gathered.

He was thereafter beaten to pulp before he was set ablaze. The Police Public Relations Officer, Niger State Command, ASP Bala Elkana who confirmed the incident, describing it as not only unfortunate but also mob action. He said in investigation into the crime has commenced, but said, no arrest has been made with regards to the incident.
