A 29-year-old-pastor of Christ Command Mission in Igboeze Onicha, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, David Ibe has been arrested by Ebonyi State Police Command for allegedly raping a 23-year-old girl, Nnennaya Okute.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP George Okafor said the pastor lured the victim into an uncompleted building at about 9:30pm and raped her.
“He is an impostor; he’s one of those who claim to be pastors but dent the image of God. They are the horrible types that pretend to be human beings and you will never know that you are actually dinning with the devil,” he said.
Okafor said Ibe confessed to the crime during interrogation and said he claimed he invested some money on the girl and the girl refused to marry him.
