Ex-International Tijani Babangida has tipped the current interim coach Samson Siasia to succeed with the players he invited.
The former Super Eagles assistant coach said Siasia’s familiarity with most of the players will help him in to achieve success.
He noted that more than 75 per cent of the players have worked with him at U-20 and U-23 level before graduating in the senior national team.

“The only thing is that a few of the invited players have not worked with Siasia before but 75 to 80 per cent of the boys have worked him at the U-23 level.
“It won’t affect the system that Siasia is going to adopt into the team so I do not believe that time is short,” he said.

Babangida was personal assistant to former Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh who resigned at the end of February and was subsequently replaced by Siasia who is managing the team in an interim capacity.
