The book was written to mark the second anniversary of the abduction of the schoolgirls and the murder of the over 40 secondary school boys from Buni Yadi community in Yobe State.
The book will be presented to the public at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja on Thursday.
The media aide to the President’s wife, Jemilu Yussuf, said in a statement that the decision to donate the proceeds of the book to charity is in furtherance of the President’s wife commitment to ameliorate the plight of the parents of the abducted girls and the murdered boys.
This, Yussuf added, will better the living conditions of families of the girls, parents of the boys and the IDPs.
He said: “The book launch is also an eloquent expression of the fact that the Federal Government is deeply concerned about the Chibok girls and the Buni Yadi boys who were earlier murdered by Boko Haram before the abduction of the Chibok girls. “The book is a masterpiece on the intricate linkage between beauty and wellness therapy and improving health conditions of our people.”
