Juventus reportedly want Javier Mascherano to ask to be allowed to leave Barcelona, so the clubs can start negotiating.
It’s been reported that the Serie A champions have an agreement with the Argentina international but Barca insist he isn’t for sale.
‘AS’ reports that Juve want Masche to push for a departure as, unlike teammate Dani Alves, also a Juve target, he doesn’t have a clause in his contract that allows for an exit before a certain date.
It’s felt that once Masche asks Barca to let him go the clubs can start talking over a deal for the former Liverpool man, who has agreed a three-year contract in Turin.
