Buhari Empowers 1,500 Oke Ogun Constituents With N150m‎ Tools


The Upper Chamber legislator representing the Oyo North Senatorial district, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari has distributed various working tools to about 1,500 people of his constituency as a form of empowerment for them in fulfilment of his campaign promise.
The Ogbomoso-born politician and the Chairman,

Information Communication Technology (ICT) Committee of the Upper Chamber distributed the empowerment materials at the weekend to the constituents spanning across the 13 local governments that make up the Oke Ogun zone and Ogbomoso town of Oyo state.
‎The empowerment tools included: 16 cars, 300 motorcycles, 273 sewing machines, 637 grinding machines, 142 generators, 25 deep freezers, 12 tricycles and 55 spraying wells.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, where Governor Abiola Ajimobi was represented by his Deputy Chief Moses Alake, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator said: “It is my covenant to ably represent and do resoundingly well for my constituents through the intervention/constituency projects’ platform provided us by the National Assembly as representative of the people, who knows the spots where shoes pinch the masses.”
