The revelation on the contract was made Tuesday in Abuja, by the Director-General of NIMASA, Mr. Haruna Jauro, during a courtesy call on the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas,
He noted that the company, under the contractual agreement, was meant to donate its platform to help check piracy.
By the nature of the agreement, Global West Specialists Limited, was saddled with the responsibility of procuring, maintaining and managing the platforms.
