Social media can be used to either do good or bad, and in this case, President Muhammadu Buhari’s name is being used to defraud people.
A fraudulent person created a fake Facebook account of President Buhari with the sole aim of scamming gullible Nigerians who actually believe they are contacting the president directly.
The scammer posts job vacancies, with phone numbers, asking interested people to contact the person with the phone number, and when they call, they are asked to send an MTN recharge card of 1500, to speed up the process.
